Which THREE Trains Should I Add? | 00 Gauge Model Railway Episode 15

Welcome back to Welbeck Junction, my 00 Gauge UK modern image model railway inspired by the West Coast Main Line. With the garage doorway finally crossed and the lower-level loop now connected, the 13-road fiddle yard can begin doing its real job. But having all that storage space presents a new question—what should actually fill it? In Episode 15, I take stock of the Welbeck Junction fleet, looking at the formations already available, the trains still taking shape and the models currently on order. From Freightliner intermodal and Drax biomass traffic to DRS operations, the Caledonian Sleeper, DC Rail freight and the Transport for Wales Class 158, there is already plenty of variety. But there are still some obvious gaps—and one troublesome rake that refuses to behave itself. This time, however, I don’t want to make all the decisions myself.
