Don’t Stop at the Blessing: God Has a Greater Purpose for You | Stephen Prado

What do you do after God answers your prayer? In this powerful Christian sermon, Stephen Prado teaches from Luke 5:6–11 that receiving the blessing is not the end of the story. Peter experienced a miraculous catch, but Jesus was calling him beyond the fish—into a greater purpose, deeper surrender, and a life of following Him. If you have been praying for a breakthrough, waiting for answered prayers, or asking God for direction, this message will remind you that every blessing can carry a greater assignment. Stephen Prado challenges us not to become so focused on the gift that we forget the Giver. Through this Bible teaching, discover three important responses after God blesses you: recognize the Giver, discover God’s purpose for the blessing, and surrender everything back to Him. Your Christian faith is not only about what God can give you—it is about who you become as you follow Jesus. Sometimes God gives you the miracle you prayed for so you can discover that what you truly need is Him. Stephen Prado reminds us that the blessing may be the beginning of your calling, not the destination. Don’t stop at the catch. Recognize the Giver. Discover the purpose. Surrender everything.
