Summer Sunrise…..FluidArt Pearl Pour

This little beauty began with a pillow of pearl paint. I used 40% DecoArt satin enamel and 60% Artist Loft white with three parts Floetrol. On top of my pillow I added the following colors in a 1:3 paint to Floetrol ratio: Arteza- Payne’s Gray and Silver Amsterdam- Titanium Buff, Primary Magenta, Permanent Red Violet, Persian Rose, Transparent Red, Turquoise Green and Brilliant Blue Pebeo- Iridescent Copper Custom Color Dove- Amsterdam Neutral Gray and Artist Loft White Cell Activator (CA)- Amsterdam Lamp Black and Australian Floetrol mixed to the consistency of baby oil or approx 1:3 or 1:4 Once my colors were down I added a pool of CA and blew it out across my canvas with my blow dryer on the low, cool setting. I then took a skewer and began poking through the remaining CA creating little pearl cells. Thank you so much for watching!
