Metra’s New Stadler Flirt Battery Powered Train Walkthrough At LaSalle St Station! (10/15/26)

The first battery powered train Metra has received from Stadler arrived into Chicago lately from Salt Lake City and Metra decided to have a public display in the LaSalle St station for 2 days, I heard Metra is getting 8 four-car sets with an option of getting 8 more, these trainsets are expected to go into service by late 2028 with a year of testing prior, I decided to go see it and I honestly really like it!
