In this autism friendly coding tutorial, we're building our first React Native screen using Expo and TypeScript!
In Video 2 of our React Native + Expo with TypeScript series, we'll start building a simple Task Tracker app. We'll create a separate stylesheet, build our screen using React Native components, and see the finished result in an Android emulator.
We'll work through everything at a calm, clear pace, with straightforward explanations and no unnecessary jargon.
*What you'll learn:*
How to create a stylesheet using `StyleSheet.create()`
How to use React Native's `View` and `Text` components
How to organize styles in a separate TypeScript file
How to connect styles to your screen components
How to preview your changes using Expo's Fast Refresh
*Files we'll create or modify:*
`src/styles/taskStyles.ts`
`src/app/index.tsx`
*Watch Video 1: Setting Up React Native + Expo*

*Coming up in Video 3:*
