Above Jacobshavn Glacier

A flight from the Ice Cap, across the entire calving 15 km ( 9.5 mi.)face of Jacobshavn Glacier then turning back with a view down the Isfjord and then out to Ilulissat, Greenland. The Sermeq Kuajelleq, or southern glacier is the fastest moving glacier on Earth, moving up to 55 m (150') a day, producing massive bergs, and draining 6% of the Greenland Ice Sheet annually. The Isfjord is filled with ice and large bergs extending some 55 km( 34 mi.) out towards Disko Bay.
