桂浜の坂本龍馬像｜昭和3年建立 高さ13.5mの龍馬が太平洋を見つめる

高知・桂浜に立つ坂本龍馬像。 この像は昭和3年（1928年）に建立され、 像の高さは約5.3m、台座を含めると約13.5mあります。 松林の向こう、太平洋を見つめる龍馬。 桂浜を代表する風景のひとつです。 坂本龍馬は、時代の大きな転換期に、 自分が信じる道を進み続けた人物でした。 大きなことを成し遂げる人も、 最初の一歩は小さな決断から始まる。 先が見えなくても、 自分が信じる方向へ歩き続けること。 桂浜に立つ龍馬像を見ながら、 そんなことを考えました。 The statue of Sakamoto Ryoma stands at Katsurahama Beach in Kochi. It was erected in 1928 and stands approximately 5.3 meters tall. Including its pedestal, the monument reaches about 13.5 meters. Beyond the pine trees, Ryoma gazes out across the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the most iconic sights of Katsurahama. Sakamoto Ryoma lived during a time of great change in Japan and continued to follow the path he believed in. Even those who accomplish great things begin with a small first step. Even when we cannot see what lies ahead, we can continue walking in the direction we believe is right. Standing here at Katsurahama and looking up at Ryoma, I found myself thinking about that. 道の途中　心の旅
