The Breathtaking 145 year old Abandoned Wycliffe Mansion w/ Incredible Woodwork in Tennessee

This beautiful old vernacular manor house was built in the late 1800’s around 1875-1880. It features a mix of Victorian architecture with an American four square mixed in showing an interesting period of evolution in American architecture. The original owners raised thoroughbred race horses and cattle as well as growing a number of crops. Unfortunately it’s the last hold out in the area as suburbs and new housing developments spring up nearby and now it appears the house and fields around will be the location of 12 new custom built Ryan homes. The house has sat vacant since the early 2000’s when the final owners passed away, leaving this beautiful house patiently waiting for a new owner which would appear was never meant to be.
