Dorothy Shay - Feudin' And Fightin' (BSN Stereo Mix)

Dorothy Shay (Dorothy Sims) was a singer and actress. She may have been best known from her role in the television series “The Waltons,” where she played Thelma, the owner of The Dew Drop Inn. When she unexpectedly died at age 57 of a heart attack while the show was filming episodes, the writers noted her character sold the Dew Drop Inn and moved to California. As a singer, in 1945 she was dubbed “The Park Avenue Hillbilly.” “Feudin’ And Fightin’” was released in early summer, 1947. It reached #4 on both the Billboard pop chart and the Billboard country chart.
