Steven Snyder and Friends. — Steven Snyder, Piano; Ming-Hui Kuo, Percussion; Mike Kessler, Vibes; Micah Layne, Flute; Allan Adifils, Percussion; Jeremy Allen, Bass; Ben Hogan, Percussion. — Steve Snyder is Professor of Jazz Studies at DePauw University and an active pianist, organist, educator, and arranger. Dr. Ming-Hui Kuo is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Percussion and Director of Percussion Ensembles at DePauw University. Micah Layne is an Indiana-based flutist, educator, and professional flute repair specialist. He is the founder and conductor of the Greencastle Flute Choir. Allan Adifils Dit Etienne is a Haitian-born drummer and percussionist who studied at the Dessaix Baptiste Music School. He is the owner and music director of Allan Music Entertainment. Jeremy Allen is the David H. Jacobs Professor of Music in Jazz Studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Ben Hogan is a central Indiana-based multi-instrumentalist whose work spans jazz, classical, Brazilian and Indian classical music, American folk music, electronic music, and improvisation.
