I almost didn't tee it up and sprang back from the brink of heat exhaustion. Temecula in July is HOT! We did get lucky with a few clouds and I took the opportunity to shed more heat by playing barefoot! I shot another 86, and deservedly so. Too many chunky shots and putts left on the lip! Staying cool for longer helped with the endurance late in the round and I managed to shed 4 minutes off my time and Run it in 51 minutes! ⛳️ The 10th U.S. Speedgolf Open concluded Sunday at Temecula Creek Golf Club with cooler temperatures, cloud cover and light rain replacing Saturday’s heat. The conditions helped produce faster round times, lower scores and plenty of smiles at the finish line. England’s James Hardy completed a wire-to-wire victory in the Men’s Open with a two-round Speedgolf total of 233:33. Hardy closed with a 73 in 41:34, including three birdies and four bogeys, and made the turn at 1-under in about 20 minutes. Will Robson finished runner-up at 239:58 after playing his first 14 holes at even par, while Sweden’s Carl Palmberg placed third at 244:23. Lauren Cupp captured her sixth U.S. Open women’s title with a total of 289:17. Paige Vancil finished second and Tina Bielecki placed third. Across the men’s amateur age groups, Chris Parry earned overall low-amateur honors at 257:35, just 30 seconds ahead of Steve Vancil at 258:05. Other division champions included John Haimes, Bob Vietas, Morgan Montano, Abram Rankin and Joah Flietstra. 🥍 FLINGGOLF HISTORY Morgan Montano became the first FlingGolf champion in Speedgolf USA history. The inaugural division, co-sanctioned by Speedgolf USA and World FlingGolf, was a huge success, and both organizations are already exploring ways to expand the partnership in 2027. A huge thank you to Temecula Creek Golf Club, the superintendent and grounds crew, our volunteers, Jonathan Flietstra and the Speedgolf Temecula chapter, and our sponsors LMNT, Garmin and Rise and Reframe PT. 📸 Paris Photography 📸 Download Hundreds of Pictures from Farrah Paris for Free! https://www.parispics.net/Speedgolf ☑️ Sign Up for a Weekly Newsletter - https://speedgolf.baby/ ☑️ Speedgolf USA Events and Info - https://www.speedgolfusa.com/ ☑️ Playspeedgolf - Speedgolf World Hub - https://www.playspeedgolf.com/ Become a Speedgolf USA member now: https://www.speedgolfusa.com/memberships 🎧 Music♩♪♫♬ Volume: ▁ ▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ █ 100 % ► ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ Cool Guys Look at Explosions (⌐■_■)
