R211T Soft Shell Open Gangway Cars in service on the (G) line

After over a year in service on the (C) line, two open gangway sets have been transferred to Coney Island Yard for service on the (G) line. Since the (G) uses 5-car trains, the full 10-car train was able to be split into two separate trains, making it possible to see and walk through the entire train. Open gangways will allow (G) line riders to have more space on the notoriously shorter trains that run on the line.
