Danny Crosbie (UK) designed a wing-fold system for the CFM Shadow and Streak microlights. Using the Crosbie wing-fold, Bruce Conway demonstrates how it takes less than 18 minutes to single-handedly un-fold and rig the wings on his Shadow ultralight aircraft ready for flight. This wing-fold is slightly different to Danny Crosbie's original: Wing-fold mechanism uses aviation rod-ends as hinges Boom support trolley has a composite frame (PVC foam, UD carbon + DB glassfibre) Large diameter, pneumatic castor wheels to cope with rough grass fields Wingtip support is an alloy ladder with adjustable padded T-bar [Note: Video plays back at 8x normal speed, so don't worry about Bruce's work rate. It's actually a leisurely process.] To see how to De-Rig the wings, watch my "Crosbie Wingfold - solo de-rigging the wings on a Shadow microlight aircraft" sequel video    • Crosbie Wingfold - solo de-rigging the win...   Filmed on location in Southland, New Zealand See more of Bruce's Shadow microlight aircraft on his Fly Micro website http://flymicro.alphaoutdoors.co.nz/p...
