تست کاتالاز (Microbiology: the Catalase test)

The catalase test is common assay used to characterize bacteria, and this test can be used to discriminate enteric bacteria from many other Gammaproteobacteria. The catalase test assays for the enzyme catalase, which detoxifies hydrogen peroxide and is commonly found in bacteria able to grow in the presence of oxygen.
