This is a weekly test of the Weather Warning Siren System in Daviess County, Indiana. Sirens in Daviess County normally test at 12 Noon EST (11:00 CST), weather permitting, for approximately 30-45 seconds by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
This particular siren is located on 3RD St. in Montgomery, Indiana. It is located on a abnormally, tall utility pole. The siren appears as though it was installed just a few years ago.
After driving here, I was not expecting that this siren would do a normal attack. In fact, I was expecting a longer "up" attack timing much like Washington's sirens but instead this siren did a "normal" attack setting. I'm planning to hopefully redo this again simply because I've been on a long hunt to find a T-128 (one of my favorite modern siren) that would test in several cycles of attack.
