Walnut Tree Viaduct to Cadoxton by train in days gone by....

A Train Simulator film of the train journey from the Walnut Tree viaduct at Taffs Well near Cardiff to Cadoxton in Barry, South Wales. Following the route of the now disused Barry Railway. The model was made using Google Earth for route, and the Ordnance Survey 1892/1914 25" Map for the trackwork. Although the model is based at the end of the 1950's, those in the know will see rolling stock and track changes that wouldn't have existed in this period. Anyway it's just a bit of fun and I hope you enjoy the drivers eye view of the journey (in real time) on board a DMU. Best viewed on a large screen.
