POV Truck Driving (Scania S500) Slovenija, Nova Gorica-Deskle. I am passing by the Solkan Bridge. The Solkan Bridge is an arch bridge 219.7 meters in length spanning the Soča River near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. With an arch span of 85 meters, it is the longest stone-arch railway bridge in the world. It was originally built to carry the Bohinj Railway during the era of the Vienna Secession—between 1900 and 1905—and was officially opened in 1906.
