The Great Spirit Hears Us All - Geronimo Cloudwalker - Official Video

THE GREAT SPIRIT HEARS US ALL — Geronimo Cloudwalker Inspired by Red Jacket's historic speech of 1805 In 1805, the great Seneca orator Red Jacket (Sogoyewatha) stood before a Christian missionary and delivered one of the most powerful defenses of religious freedom in Native American history. His message was simple, courageous, and timeless: “We do not wish to destroy your religion or take it from you. We only want to enjoy our own.” *The Great Spirit Hears Us All* brings that message to life through the weathered voice of Geronimo Cloudwalker, blending Native American-inspired rhythms, haunting flute, powerful drums, acoustic guitar, and cinematic roots rock. This song tells of a people who welcomed strangers, shared their land and food, and then watched their world change. Yet Red Jacket's response was not hatred. It was a demand for honesty, dignity, and mutual respect. At the heart of the song is a question that still matters today: *If your faith teaches love, shouldn't your actions prove it?* The recording also introduces **The Hidden Chord — The New Chord of Understanding**, an experimental musical ending conceived to bring together instruments from different cultures in a single, unusual harmony. It symbolizes the possibility of living together without surrendering who we are. 🎵 *Song:* The Great Spirit Hears Us All 🎙️ *Performing artist:* Geronimo Cloudwalker ✍️ *Written and adapted by:* Rod “Daniel” Murray 📜 *Inspired by:* Red Jacket's 1805 address to missionary Jacob Cram 🎶 *Genre:* Native American-inspired Americana / Cinematic Roots Rock This is an original artistic interpretation, not an authentic Seneca ceremonial song or a verbatim musical setting of Red Jacket's speech. *We do not have to share the same traditions to respect one another.* If this message speaks to you, share the song and help keep the wisdom of the elders alive. #GeronimoCloudwalker #TheGreatSpiritHearsUsAll #RedJacket #NativeAmericanHistory #IndigenousVoices #ReligiousFreedom #NativeAmericanInspiredMusic #RodDanielMurray #AmericanaMusic #TheHiddenChord
