YOU WERE BORN TO SERVE. 🔥 You are not in the Kingdom by accident. God has poured out His Spirit, placed something within you and called you for His purpose. The question is no longer simply, “Am I called?” The question is: Will I answer the call? God poured out His Spirit upon His servants, and everyone in the Kingdom has been entrusted with something. But like the servants in Matthew 25, what we have received requires a response. I AM CALLED. THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS POURED OUT ON ME. I WILL ANSWER THE CALL. BORN TO SERVE | FAITHOUSE CHURCH BIRMINGHAM What does it truly mean to belong to the Kingdom of God? When we accepted Jesus, we became part of His Kingdom. We chose to yield ourselves to the sovereignty and rule of God—and within His Kingdom there are principles by which we are called to live. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of servants who were each entrusted with something by their master. Some took what they had received and put it to work, while another buried what had been placed in his hands. The first thing we must recognise is: YOU ARE A SERVANT, AND YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN SOMETHING. Acts 2 declares that God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh—sons, daughters, young, old, menservants and maidservants. The supply is there. No one was left with nothing. But receiving the call is only the beginning. You must step out and ANSWER THE CALL. Jeremiah heard the call of God. Isaiah responded, “Here I am. Send me.” Calling requires action, obedience and a willingness to submit yourself to God's process. This teaching explores what it means to: Recognise that you are called Understand that God has poured His Spirit upon you Step out and answer the call Submit yourself to the process of preparation Live continually ready for the Master Surrender your own desires and become a living sacrifice Pay the price of consecration Refuse a Christianity built around convenience Develop discipline in prayer, the Word and preparation Carry what God has placed upon your generation Jesus said: “Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am.” — John 12:26 There is a price attached to carrying the purposes of God. Our lives are not our own. There comes a point where God calls us higher: “COME UP HERE.” — Revelation 4:1 Yesterday's experiences cannot become the limit of today's pursuit. There is more in God, more preparation, more consecration and more responsibility. This is a call to a generation whose priorities are centred upon the Kingdom—a people hungry for God, surrendered to His purposes and prepared for the return of Christ.
