Bearded Reedlings, RSPB Leighton Moss, 2026

Video recorded at the Causeway Grit Trays early morning in mid October 2026. The first part of the video is recorded at normal speed and then it progresses to video recorded at x5 slow motion. The slow motion enables you to observe their behaviour not normally seen by the naked eye as the Reedlings pick out miniscule pieces of grit to line their stomachs. Music attributions and licenses are at the end of the video.
