Steve Ditko was co-creator of Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Blue Beetle and Capt. Atom. He was one of the great cartoonists of his era.
But Ditko's Marvel work in the 1980s and '90s mostly turned up in obscure books, far from the spotlight. This video looks at two short black-and-white stories that bookend that era: the Shroud in "Walk a Crooked Mile!" (Marvel Preview #21, 1980) and Iron Man in "A Man's Reach...!" (Marvel Shadows & Light #1, 1998). How do they compare, and what do they tell us about Ditko's late career?
