Deadmau5 vs Duran Duran - Ghosts On Film (The Tiger Jones 35mm Interpretation)

Now that we've got that out of the way... I've been really apprehensive about posting this for some time. I was nervous about people giving me grief taking credit for someone else's work, but that's not the case here. This was merely my way of putting together something for myself out of an admiration of someone else's creativity that I wanted for my personal listening collection. You see, it goes like this... Some time ago, I came across this mashup on Duran Duran's Facebook page. I'm a HUGE Duranie and a big fan of Deadmau5, so when I heard this, I was blown away. I knew I had to have a copy for myself and began my search but unfortunately, I couldn't find a decent quality copy that wasn't lossless (I'm a bit of a audiophile) or didn't sound like it had been ripped from YouTube, so I did what anyone in my situation would do - I made my own. I wanted to create something as close to the original as possible. I was able to track down a high quality copy of the "Girls On Film" multi-track along with the instrumental of "Ghosts N Stuff" and went to work. I noticed that on the original mashup, the vocal synchronization to the music began to drift on the 3rd verse (which drove my OCD insane), so I corrected the timing on mine. I removed the breaks between the lyrics because I felt it kept the energy of the tune moving along nicer and I also added the inclusion of Roger's drum solo (my daughter's idea) to give it a little touch of my own as well as emphasis on Nick's keyboard riff which follows.
