Assembling your Sleep Number® ComfortMode™ Mattress on the Adjustable Base

Step by step instructions for assembling a Sleep Number ComfortMode™ Mattress on an already assembled Sleep Number Adjustable Base. 0:00: Step 1 Set up the pump 0:10: Connect the hoses and power cord to the pump, then place the pump on the floor at the head of the bed. 0:18: Route the hose through the Velcro straps along the frame of the base and exit them through the hip opening. 0:32: Repeat these steps for the remaining side. 0:41: Step 2 Set up the mattress 0:44: Place the mattress upside down on the base 0:52: Remove mattress from bed bag. 0:58: Attach the straps to the connection points at hip and foot of mattress. 1:08: For a Split King, attach the additional two straps near the head of the bed. 1:15: Flip mattress over right side up. Ensure the law label is located at the head of the bed. 1:25: Starting at the hip, route straps through the base attach plate and snap into place. Repeat for foot connections. 1:35: For a Split King, attach the additional two straps to the underside of the base at the head of the bed. 1:44: Connect hoses to the mattress, listen and feel for the click. 1:55: Insert batteries into the remote. 2:04: Connect the pump to a power outlet. 2:07: Complete setup by following the prompts on the remote.
