This video shows the full process of replacing the original zero-cycle protection board high-capacity battery on a one-year-old iPhone 16 Pro.
The device currently has only 89% battery health with 839 charge cycles, causing severe battery drain and frequent daily recharging. We installed a high-capacity cell manufactured by SEFU, paired with a brand-new original zero-cycle protection board to build an original line high-capacity battery, greatly boosting overall battery life.
Dual airtightness tests were conducted before and after repair. Even with heavy dents and scratches on the titanium frame, the original sealing performance was well preserved. We followed standard disassembly steps to protect the rear camera and middle frame, thoroughly cleaned residual battery glue and internal dust, installed brand new factory waterproof adhesive, and completed pressure retention to restore full waterproof sealing.
The original battery is rated at 3582mAh, while the upgraded high-capacity battery delivers a real discharge capacity of 3900mAh. It features lighter weight and restored normal voltage parameters.
In the real-world endurance test at 50% brightness and volume, continuous live streaming playback lasted for 9 hours and 16 minutes. This high-capacity upgrade brings huge battery improvements and lets this iPhone 16 Pro run at full performance for years to come. A complete battery stress test is included at the end to show the actual endurance of the upgraded battery.
