Swiss Yodelling Festival Parade 🇨🇭 | Basel 2026 Walkthrough

A walk through the grand parade of the 32nd Swiss Yodelling Festival (Eidgenössisches Jodlerfest) in Basel, Switzerland 🇨🇭 The Festumzug took place through the centre of Basel as the finale of the festival, bringing together thousands of participants in traditional dress alongside yodelling groups, musicians, alphorns, flag throwers and traditions from across Switzerland and the surrounding region. I happened to be in Basel and filmed some of the parade as it passed through the city. There’s very little commentary in this one — after a brief introduction, I’ve mostly left the sights and sounds of the parade as they were so you can experience a little of it for yourself. A very simple travel diary from a rather extraordinary afternoon in Basel. Elizabeth x Travel · culture · design · everyday life #SwissYodellingFestival #Basel #Switzerland
