Removing Broken Paddle

This is a guide to show how to remove a broken shaft from a good set of paddle blades - in this example it's for Canoe Polo, but the techniques equally apply to any type. There are many ways to do this, but this is what works for me. Even though this video goes on a bit, the actual footage is of the one paddle - kindly videoed by Michael Burbeck of Meridian/ULU/GB Fame ! The example shown is a CPS Ultra-Light Canoe Polo Paddle (available from www.cpsblades.co.uk), which just needed a broken shaft changed - see the other video to see the assembly of the paddle with the new shaft.
