Healing Gardens, Sunflower & Lavender Fields Walk: Restore & Relax #greenspaces

A gentle walk around the relaxing and restoring, Somerset Lavender, Healing Gardens and Lavender Fields. With the 'pick your own' Sunflower field in full bloom this place was just what the doctor ordered as a sensory experience and natural pick-me-up. The carpark and gardens are totally free of charge (BA3 5WA). Somerset Lavender has an awesome farm style shop with a cafe where you can pick up a tea and choose from an verity of healing plants grown within the nursery at Somerset Lavender. The Healing Gardens are incredible, we spent so much time just taking in the aromatic smells and fantastic blooms. With the lavender season coming to an end only the final few fields were left uncropped, but they hummed with bees and the smell of lavender hung heavy in the air, relaxing and restoring us from the long week of work. The Sunflower field was incredible, we felt lost at times, even stopped for lunch amongst them. We had the best time, blissful.
