In this video we count down 20 rest areas and truck parks across Europe that drivers warn each other about, each with a real documented case: Brandenburg's A10 and A11, Helsingborg, Italy's A26, the AP-7 in Catalonia, Kassel on the A7, Hilton Park, Stafford and Keele on the M6, Warwick Services, Lehrter See, Steingrund, Rheda-Wiedenbrück, the A66 near Frankfurt, Ashford International Truckstop, the A26 near Chocques, Waremme, Groot-Bijgaarden, Nîmes, Inzing in Tyrol, Hazeldonk, Jabbeke and Westkerke — and the rest areas around Calais and Dunkirk that France closed. Everything is based on police statements, court cases, local authorities and reporting from the time.
