Quest markers - love them or hate them, they've become a staple of more modern RPGs, providing guide posts directing you from one quest stage to the next, sometimes doing all the heavy lifting for you and sometimes just giving you a general direction to go. Oblivion and Skyrim feature quest markers prominently, but Morrowind, being as it is a much older game, has historically only provided the journal for the player to rely upon for quest information and directions. With more quests than any other modern Elder Scrolls game, and no native built-in functionality to support marking quest items and objectives, the very idea of implementing quest markers was, until recently, a seemingly impossible task. But as is often the case in Morrowind's modern age, the impossible often becomes possible, and for today's Mod of the Day we're showcasing two mods that bring quest markers to both OpenMW and MWSE/MGE XE, for today we're taking a look at Quest Guider Lite (OpenMW) by Diject and Quest Guider MWSE by Diject. These two mods introduce all the convenience features of modern quest markers that you may love or possibly hate, including markers on your HUD, proximity indicators for quest objectives, a tracking map for quest markers, randomly-generated color-coding for each quest objective, and an expansion to the vanilla game journal. With a fully customizable Mod Config to enable or disable any individual feature, Quest Guider is the ultimate, and indeed only, quest marker mod for Morrowind, and however you feel about quest markers, you have to admit it's an impressive technical achievement! All the more impressive for having native support for the hundreds of quests in Tamriel Rebuilt, Province: Cyrodiil and Skyrim - Home of the Nords! If you've ever wanted more quest guidance in Morrowind, it's a must-have mod! And if you hate quest markers, well, good news, mods are optional and you don't have to install it! Either way it's a really cool feature! Download Links: Quest Guider Lite (OpenMW) By Diject - https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/m...
