I made it to Wyoming. Away from my wife and kids, sleeping in a place that isn't home, working to put away every dollar I can so we can build a business in the Philippines. The first stretch here hit me harder than I expected. I'd be lying if I said I've been fine — there's a particular kind of heavy that comes with being alone and knowing exactly why you're alone. But I'm out of that hole and I'm locking in. In this one I talk honestly about what this separation actually costs, what the plan looks like on the other side of it, and something I didn't expect to be doing out here: I've started reading the Bible.
