How long would you survive in the deadliest jungles on Earth? We rank seven of the deadliest places on Earth for jungle survival, from the one you’d walk out of alive to the one where your survival odds drop on day one. We used real attack records, death tolls and hospital data.
This jungle documentary covers the deadly wildlife and hidden killers of each jungle. In the Daintree rainforest it’s saltwater crocodiles and a plant that stings for months. In the Amazon rainforest, the jaguar almost never gets anyone. In Borneo there’s a malaria that comes from monkeys. In the Congo Basin, malaria kills tens of thousands of people a year. New Guinea has the Papuan taipan and mountains you can’t cross. In the Darién Gap, flash floods and armed gangs wait on the trails. And the Sundarbans has the only mangrove tigers on Earth, Bengal tigers that hunt people.
If you love wilderness survival, wilderness exploration or wildlife documentaries, this survival documentary asks one question about every jungle: if you had to survive in the jungle alone for thirty days, how long would you last?
