the Harrowing. Urban Horror Music. Dark Ambient

Not all stories and tales came from a whim. Some were written in blood. Harrowing urban horror music. Dark ambient inspired by urban legends, horror stories and creepy pasta. Alternative version with no groovy mid part available on Patreon:   / thwhalee   Background layers of droning microtonal piano and organ, vocal samples shifted down 3+ octaves and staged in space, lots of distortion, lots of tape noise and wobble, lots of LR split shifts for that nasty nauseating headache vibe. A bit of mangled guitars and overdriven kids playground noises made into a playable instrument. You know, the usual. And then outta nowhere a groovy beat to release some of that tension and catch a break (somewhat) before plunging back into ever more disturbing and haunting second half. #darkambient #dnd #music #ambient #horror #sounddesigner #backgroundmusic #gamecomposer #composer #dndmusic #dndbackground #soundtrack #ttrpg Links: Website: https://www.thwhalee.com/ Patreon:   / thwhalee   Insta:   / thwhalees   Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/thwhalee X:   / tmvtte   Bluesky: ‪@thwhalee.bsky.social‬ Art used: Skiegraphicstudio: https://www.artstation.com/skiegraphi...
