How To Split a Log Into Boards

How I split logs into boards using only axes and wedges. The wedges were made from birch wood using an axes. This log was of pine so then you start the splitting from the top end. On spruce you start from the bottom end, like I did on the foundation log for the log cabin. Erik Grankvist
