Red Foil Heart (a GARAGE BAND DEMO!!!) Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter

I’m by no means a Valentine's Day “enthusiast", but I admit, I’ve always been fixated on the Victorian beauty of the heart shaped candy boxes and in the sprit of Robert Frank, one of my favorite photographers, I can’t “not” take video or photograph these mass produced, emotionally loaded products when I see them ( esp under florescent lights;).…On the way to the airport to get Phil back to Seattle last month, we shot some goofy video at a grocery store pit stop and this song, albeit a rough garage band demo, made sense with the imagery. So, here is a little V- day video "card", from me to you, concerning the ghostly drama taking place inside a box of Valentine’s Day candy . (P.s…it was a 25 below 0 wind chill, on this day!….AND my winter hat is fake fur;)…. XoJess..
