Fox River Trolley - Part 3 - South Elgin to Five Islands (Fox River Trolley Museum)

In this multi-part series, we investigate the now abandoned Elgin, Aurora, and Southern Traction railway, later the Aurora, Elgin, and Fox River Electric Railroad, situated along the Fox River, in Kane and Kendall Counties, Illinois. We tell the history of this railway and follow its path through more than a dozen communities, from Carpentersville to Yorkville. In this video (#86), the 3rd in the series, we explore South Elgin, Coleman, and Five Islands, and feature the remarkable and miraculous Fox River Trolley Museum, a surviving remnant of the Aurora Elgin & Southern Traction railroad from 130 years ago, and today an amazing and incredible place to visit!
