Need for Speed Payback is an Interesting Game Indeed...

To go from the reboot in 2015 to this, when the whole point of said reboot was to take the series in a certain direction, was...an interesting move to say the least, one that most would agree was stupid. This is not to say that I think Payback is bad (if anything, it might be underrated given its reception across the community), I just fail to see why this was the direction that the series was taken in, just to switch it back the very next game (Heat), which just about everyone agrees was the best Ghost-era Need for Speed. The games upgrade system certainly was not doing it any favors, either. As for why I have so much money in this game....yeah I have zero idea. My only guess is that since I played with the UNITE mod on this save (this was a long time ago), switching to play without it might have caused an issue where I got an abundance of credits.
