1500 × Subhanallahi wa Bihamdihi · Hasbunallah · La Hawla wa La Quwwata · Astaghfirullah The Dhikr of the Weary Heart That Refuses to Give Up Pure Voice, No Instruments — Arabic — سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ — English — Glory is to Allah, and all praise is to Him. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. There is no might nor power except with Allah. I seek the forgiveness of Allah, and I turn to Him in repentance. — The Story — 1500 times. Four phrases. One trembling heart learning to breathe again. This is the dhikr of the servant who has run out of plans. Who has whispered every argument, counted every worry, and found that the night still arrives. So the tongue returns to what the Prophet ﷺ loved. Short words. Heavy on the scale. Light on the tongue. Subhanallahi wa Bihamdihi purifies. Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal Wakeel entrusts. La Hawla wa La Quwwata illa billah surrenders. Astaghfirullah wa Atubu Ilayh returns. Purify, Entrust, Surrender, Return. 🕊 Subhanallahi wa Bihamdihi, Glory and praise belong to Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said, Two phrases are light on the tongue, heavy in the scales, beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhanallahi wa Bihamdihi, Subhanallahil Adheem. Sahih al-Bukhari 6406, narrated by Abu Hurayrah RA. 🛡 Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal Wakeel, Allah is enough for us, the best of Trustees. The believers said it when armies were gathered against them, and Allah answered. Surah Aal Imran 3:173. 🌿 La Hawla wa La Quwwata illa billah, No might, no power, except with Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said to Abu Musa al-Ash'ari RA, Shall I guide you to a treasure of the treasures of Paradise? Say: La Hawla wa La Quwwata illa billah. Sahih al-Bukhari 6384, Sahih Muslim 2704. 🤲 Astaghfirullah wa Atubu Ilayh, I seek forgiveness and I return. The Prophet ﷺ said, By Allah, I seek the forgiveness of Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day. Sahih al-Bukhari 6307, narrated by Abu Hurayrah RA. 1500 times is not a number from a hadith. It is simply a longer sitting of remembrance for a heart that needs more time. The hadith counts remain the Sunnah. The longer sitting is love. Provision flows from Allah alone. When Allah opens a door, no one can close it. Purify, Entrust, Surrender, Return. — Listen When — Your chest is tight at 3 AM and sleep will not come. The plans you made are not working and you do not know the next step. You feel the weight of a sin and need to come home. Someone's words have shaken you and you need a shield. You are grateful, and you want your tongue to catch up with your heart. — Quran — Those to whom the people said, Indeed the people have gathered against you, so fear them. But it only increased them in faith, and they said, Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal Wakeel. Surah Aal Imran 3:173. And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out, and will provide for him from where he does not expect. Surah At-Talaq 65:2-3. So remember Me; I will remember you. Surah Al-Baqarah 2:152.
