Mersea Island parkrun - Saturday 15th August 2026

This weeks parkrun tourism is another journey into Essex to visit the fantastic Mersea Island parkrun. This is a brilliant two & a half laps course running on a mixture of grass, gravel, trail & tarmac paths which makes it a challenging but fun course I'm sure if i would call mit fun in the winter months though as i imagine it gets quite boggy during that period. For now though during summer its a cracking course to run, road shoes were perfectly fine for me but trail will be fine as well.
