Day 10 – February 10, 2025 On day ten, the state calls a Forensic Accountant to break down the Sementilli finances and show how much Monica would benefit from Fabio’s death versus getting a divorce, assuming that she is not found guilty in this case. In her break-down, she conservatively estimates that Monica would receive approximately $1.5M more from Fabio’s death versus divorce. Monica had been living a double life, carrying on a steamy affair with a man named Robert Baker when the 2017 stabbing death occurred while Fabio was relaxing on his back deck. Baker himself, along with another man, Chris Austin, were responsible for carrying out the brutal attack. Baker pled no contest to the charges of 1st degree murder & conspiracy in 2023 and is serving life. Austin was arrested late last year and plead guilty just earlier this month (Jan 2025) – He will be testifying in exchange for a 16-year-to-life prison sentence.
