Titagarh | New Design & Operations Centre at Uttarpara

Some moments mark an occasion. Some moments mark a journey. The inauguration of Titagarh Rail Systems new Design & Operations Centre at Uttarpara marked another step in Bengal’s journey towards becoming a stronger hub for engineering, manufacturing and innovation. The event brought together industry and government around a shared vision of strengthening Bengal’s industrial ecosystem and contributing to India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat. The presence of Shri Tapas Roy, Hon’ble Minister of Industry & Commerce, and Shri Arjun Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Labour & Transport, Government of West Bengal, made the occasion especially significant. Shri Tapas Roy highlighted Titagarh’s capabilities in building metro coaches and trains from the ground up in Bengal, while Shri Arjun Singh emphasised the importance of a strong Government–industry partnership in driving industrial growth. Shri Umesh Chowdhary, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Titagarh Rail Systems, reaffirmed Titagarh’s commitment to Bengal’s revival under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji, contributing towards a Viksit Bengal and Viksit Bharat, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
