Bratton White Horse, Bratton Camp Hill Fort & Long Barrow | Wiltshire Walk

Come with me as I explore Bratton Camp, the famous Bratton White Horse and the Long Barrow in Wiltshire. This was such an interesting place to visit, with incredible views across the Wiltshire countryside and thousands of years of history beneath your feet. Bratton Camp is an impressive Iron Age hill fort, sitting high above the surrounding landscape, and the huge White Horse carved into the hillside is one of Wiltshire's famous chalk horses. I also visited the Long Barrow nearby – and honestly, I really wish we could have gone inside! 😍 While exploring, I also came across the memorial-style figures on the hill, watched paragliders flying over the countryside and took in some absolutely beautiful views. 🔥 Bratton Camp was also affected by a wildfire in mid-August, so I wanted to see the area for myself. There is a large FREE car park at the site, although there are no toilets, so it's worth knowing before you visit. And did you know there are 8 White Horses across Wiltshire? Seeing all eight would make one incredible challenge – around 90 miles of walking to visit them all!
