This Trail was a HIDDEN GEM that the Forest Did not Want to be Found..

Part one of a two part ride into a Hard Enduro PARADISE.. I've driven past the road marker for this trailhead for years and for some reason I never took the time to stop and go explore it.. That is, until I took a second look at the area with a topographic map. I was seeing features like alpine lakes, steep mountains, and a trail that wound its way through it all. It can be a trek to get out to just the trailhead for this route and clearly nobody has worked on this trail for months. So, I'll be the first rider to head into these mountains of the 2025 season. Undoubtably this trail has some of the most deadfall I have seen and is in complete disarray. Part one (this video) will be for clearing the densely wooded initial few miles of the trail before coming back the next day (next video) with my friend to reach the playground of technical terrain and alpine lakes up above. If you don't like seeing trail work, then this video won't be for you, but its all a necessary part of this journey to get to amazing areas at higher elevation.
