Structurality | Pure FM-bient | Drone Ambient

FM Synthesis, though a kind of numerical sound-mysticism in the most secular way, seems to become relevant again, as the sounds of the 80s and 90s revive in a wave of notalgia. I just so stumbled upon a hidden power of the Yamaha TG77: Hybrid-Synthesis. That is, Frequency Modulation of its internal samples. Combined with ordinary FM-Synthesis I programmed a manifold ambient structure and processed it through the Valhalla Supermassive reverb plugin. Let's get adrift within an ever evolving soundscape. #ambientdrone #ambientmusic #fmsynthesis #nostalgia #vhsaesthetic
