Can we fix this WinchRite on the cheap? (10)

The WinchRite is a very useful tool, it's a powered winch handle that can help with sheets and halyards. We've been looking for a used one for almost 2 years and we jumped at the chance to buy one from the YBW forums! Two-part video with the second part coming soon when we source the batteries and test it out.
