Steelers make MULTIPLE moves... Major Injury Updates | Pittsburgh Steelers News

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed WR Brandon Smith to the 53 and elevated Brandon Johnson before the Browns game, and it's bad news for Ben Skowronek. The day before a 5-2 vs 5-2 showdown with Cleveland for first place in the AFC North, the Steelers made 2 roster moves. Brandon Smith used up all 3 of his practice squad call-ups and earned a 1-year deal after his first 2 NFL catches in Paris. Brandon Johnson got called up for a 3rd straight week. Ben Skowronek is questionable with the calf that already cost him 3 games, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling is still on the practice squad even after Aaron Rodgers said "it'd be nice to get him up." We break down what every move means for Sunday, why MVS's shot is coming after the bye, and the real problem: cornerbacks Brandin Echols and Doneiko Slaughter are both out. Nick Gosse breaks it all down. 0:00 Steelers roster moves before the Browns 0:30 Why the Steelers had to sign Brandon Smith 2:34 Brandon Johnson elevonable 4:37 Marquez Valdes-Scantling still on the practice squad 5:33 Echols and Slaughterem 6:52 What these moves mean for Steelers vs Browns --- Steelers Digest is a YouTube channel dedicated to covering all the latest news, trades, reports, and rumors about the Pittsburgh Steelers.
