Richter, Richter, Pečírka & Karpukhina - Rou Rou

Pavel Richter, Jonáš Richter, Štěpán Pečírka & Alexandra Karpukhina 30.5.2013 Záznam performance, při které byl využit systém moukovodů Winternitzových automatických mlýnů v Pardubicích architekta Josefa Gočára. Pomocí soustavy reproduktorů a živého hraní na roury moukovodu, byli před jeho definitivní deinstalací všechny patra budovy naposledy propojena cirkulací zvuku na místo mouky a budova tak symbolicky naposledy splnila svůj původní účel avšak už s novou látkou. Performance proběhla v rámci akce Kulturní mlýny, která se snažila zahájit debatu o dalším využití budovy po definitivním uzavření továrního provozu. During this performance we utilized the system of flour mill pipes at the Winternitz Automatic Mills in Pardubice, a building designed by the architect Josef G. With the aid of a system of speakers and by playing on the mill pipes themselves, all of the building’s floors—before the ultimate removal of the mill pipes—were for the last time interconnected via a circulation of sounds instead of flour, and the building thus symbollically for the last time fulfilled its original purpose. The performance took place as part of the Cultural Mills festival, which strived to bring forth a debate about further usage of the building after the end of its operating as a factory.
