Weather Channel vaporwave // live ambient smooth jazz beats

An hour of nostalgic ambient smooth jazz in the style of 90s Weather Channel music. All original, mostly improvised, recorded live. Created for focus, reading, and watching the clouds pass by through your window. This session is a love letter to the background music from the Weather Channel in the '90s and early '00s. I often put on compilations of old WC music in my living room while I'm reading a book or working on my laptop and I just love the vibes so much, so I figured I'd try to contribute to the canon myself. Bit of a departure from my typical outdoor ambient drone sessions but I've been having a ton of fun exploring this sound and I hope you dig it! No AI and no overdubs, ever. No samples either—this is all original music. You're hearing the actual audio from this performance. --- SAWTOOTH CURRENT is SG SYCAMORE of SPOKANE, WA who creates solar-powered ambient drones and post-vaporwave explorations in texture, harmonics, and ecology, emphasizing process over preparation. Largely improvised outdoors in remote locations around the northwest USA using a portable solar panel and battery bank. Recorded live with no edits, overdubs, or post-processing. Wallpaper music for uninhabited landscapes. Debut album 'STONE CABIN SESSIONS' is available to stream everywhere streams are streamed.
