Playing the Poolcore custom campaign in left 4 dead 2 with: ‪@fastrivals35‬ ‪@ProjectDetonado‬ ‪@Vampirehollie-a‬ Poolcore is a community-made custom campaign for left 4 dead 2, the irony of this map description is peak L4D2. On one hand, you have the creator writing a super poetic, melancholic, and existential backstory about time slipping away, losing direction in life, and experiencing "anemoia" (nostalgia for a time you never lived). They spent over 1,000 hours painstakingly recreating the eerie, quiet liminal spaces from the game POOLS. On the other hand... it's left 4 dead 2. So while the lore expects you to quietly ponder your existential dread in a quiet pool room, you’re actually getting tackled by a hunter, mag-dumping an M16 into a Ttank, and hearing pipe bomb beeps echoing through the liminal void. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ABOUT THIS GAMEPLAY: This gameplay was recorded during a session with friends and features the full campaign from start to finish.
