Can you use real cinema lenses on the GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS? In this video, I build a custom cinema-style rig for the GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS and test manual Meike and Zeiss Milvus lenses at 960 fps. Full build guide, lens comparison photos and rig setup: https://riglabacademy.com/gopro-missi... The ILS has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, but no electronic lens contacts. That means lens selection, manual aperture control and proper mechanical support are especially important. I started with parts from an old shoulder rig and added a 15mm rod system, adjustable lens support, an Arca-Swiss mounting plate and follow focus. *Lenses tested:* Meike 16mm T2.2 Zeiss Milvus 35mm Zeiss Milvus 50mm Macro Zeiss Milvus 100mm Macro *In this video:* Mounting manual cinema lenses on the GoPro ILS Using Nikon F to Micro Four Thirds adapters Supporting heavy lenses without relying entirely on the camera mount Correcting optical-axis alignment Manual and PDMovie motorized follow focus Comparing four lenses at 960 fps from the same 2-metre camera position How moving the camera closer changes framing and perspective This isn't a laboratory lens-quality comparison or a professional camera review. It's a practical look at building a working high-speed tabletop filming setup. *RIG LAB ACADEMY* Practical tabletop rigging, high-speed filmmaking and DIY camera equipment.
