Messi Leads WILD Comeback | Inter Miami vs Orlando City | Full Match Highlights

Lionel Messi returned from a hamstring injury and started for Inter Miami against Orlando City in the Leagues Cup Semifinals at Chase Stadium, with the Herons looking to avenge two earlier MLS defeats to their Florida rivals. Orlando City took the lead through Marco Pašalić in first-half stoppage time after a move involving Luis Muriel, and the goal survived a VAR check for a possible handball. Inter Miami created chances through Luis Suárez and Messi but trailed at the break, with possession slightly in their favor as both sides traded yellow cards in a physical derby. Messi looked tentative early but grew into the game as Inter Miami pushed for an equalizer against an organized Orlando City defense. Lionel Messi equalized from the penalty spot in the 77th minute after David Brekalo was sent off for fouling Tadeo Allende, then scored the go-ahead goal in the 88th minute with a give-and-go combination alongside Jordi Alba to complete his brace and put Inter Miami 2-1 ahead. Telasco Segovia added a third in the 90+1st minute after exchanging passes with Luis Suárez, sealing a 3-1 comeback victory that advanced Inter Miami to the Leagues Cup Final for the second time in three years while also securing a 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup place. The win avenged earlier lopsided MLS losses to Orlando City and showcased Messi’s enduring quality on limited preparation, as the captain delivered two goals and helped control the decisive final minutes against a depleted Orlando side reduced to ten men. #LionelMessi #InterMiami #LeaguesCup
